Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell is an American actor from the United States. Born March 27, 1970, she's 5'9 tall. Her most well-known role is for playing her character Dr. Juliet Burke in ABC's Lost TV show and FBI Agent Erica Evans in V. Gia. The Escape Clause. Mitchell is a part of Eric Kripke's television program Revolution that airs on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell's father is a lawyer from Dallas, as are her parents, Josephine Marian Mitchell and Josephine Marian Mitchell. Mitchell relocated with her mother to Dallas in the year 1970. She later became married to Joseph Mitchell. Mitchell graduated with a high school diploma from Booker T. Washington High School Visual and Performing Arts a Public Magnet School. Mitchell is the youngest of three sisters with the others being Kristina Katherine Day Kate Mitchell and Kristina Kristie Mitchell, and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. In 1991 she graduated from Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and also studying at the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for six years at the Dallas Theater Center and a time in the Encore Theater. She is currently known for her part as Emily Prentiss, Special Agent on CBS's crime drama Criminal Minds.
