Kristen Anne Bell was born in the year 1980. She is a singer/actress from the USA. The parents of Kristen Bell are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. She was raised and born in Huntington Woods Michigan. She is the daughter of a Polish as is her father, who is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen was able to show a flair for the arts at the age of a child. She went to her audition in 1992 and got the role of Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell had an agent appointed by her mother prior to the age of 13 and was cast as a model on television and newspaper commercials. Also, she began private acting classes at that time. Bell was credited with a minor role as a character in Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School, where she took part in drama and music club. The Wizard of Oz was performed by her high school and she won the role of Dorothy. Bell later moved in New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She studied musical theater at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell left the university in 2001 to take on the role Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. Her first film credits in Pootie Tang during 2001. Her scene, however it was cut and her only appearance is in the end credits. Bell appeared together with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
